Nutritional therapy
Is the use of food, diet and supplements to improve health and support the body's healing processes. It focuses on identifying nutritional imbalances and using specific nutrition plans to correct them. Nutritional therapists look at how diet, lifestyle, digestion and nutrient deficiencies might affect health and then create a personalised plan.
Initial Consultation - What to Expect
Your journey towards better health begins with a comprehensive initial consultation, designed to uncover the root causes of your symptoms and create a personalised plan that works for you.
Before Your Appointment
You'll be asked to complete a short food diary. This gives me insight into your current diet and eating habits.
The Consultation (60-90 minutes)
In the one-on-one session-either in person or online-we'll explore your health in depth. We'll talk about:
-
Your symptoms, concerns, and wellness goals
-
Medical, family history
-
Current diet and eating habits
-
In depth symptoms with different bodily systems (Example: Digestive, immune, endocrine systems).
-
Your relationship with food and lifestyle habits
-
Any potential nutrient imbalances or areas for support

Your Personalised Nutrition & Lifestyle Plan (2-3 days after initial consultation)
Following the consultation, you'll recieve a fully tailored plan that may include:
-
Nutritional guidance and practical meal suggestions
-
Supplement recommendations (If appropriate)
-
Lifestyle advice around sleep, movement and stress
-
suggestions for functional testing if needed

Follow-up (Ongoing Support: 4-6 weeks later)

My Story
My name is Marc Wilkes
My journey into nutritional therapy began when I struggled with unresolved symptoms of acid reflux (GERD) and felt unheard by my doctor. Despite endless prescriptions and tests, I was left with anxiety and a false diagnosis. Determined to take back control, I enrolled in a three-year diploma program at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, which transformed my life and finally brought me relief. Now, I'm dedicated to helping others facing similar challenges find positive results and rediscover the joy of living.

Qualifications:
Nutritional Therapist Practioner - College of Naturopathic Medicine
(DipCNM, mANP, mGNC)
Assistant Supervisor - (CNM)
